Trailblazing Fashion Founders Laura and Rachel Beattie to Join Panel at King’s Trust “Working for Young Women” Lunch Aboard Queen Mary 2

The King’s Trust is proud to announce that Laura and Rachel Beattie, co-founders of luxury fashion brand Careaux, will appear as panellists at the Working for Young Women Lunch on 31 October 2025, aboard the iconic Queen Mary 2 in New York. They will join world-renowned designers Christian Siriano and April Walker, highlighting how fashion, social impact, and entrepreneurship can empower the next generation of young women.

Laura and Rachel’s journey began with the King’s Trust in 2018 when they joined the Enterprise programme, receiving crucial support to develop their vision of inclusive, sustainable fashion. Their brand, CAREAUX, founded on the values of inclusivity, sustainability, innovation and social impact specialises in classic silhouettes engineered to fit every body. Since launching, the sisters have become leading voices in ethical fashion and disability inclusion.

Laura, who lives with Cystic Fibrosis and was listed for a double lung transplant during the Enterprise Programme, and her sister Rachel, united by their shared commitment to creating meaningful change through fashion, credit The King’s Trust for helping them turn purpose into practice. The sisters have since grown CAREAUX into a purpose-led luxury brand - championing inclusion, sustainability, and social impact while supporting global causes and empowering the next generation of changemakers.

The event forms part of the Women Supporting Women initiative by The King’s Trust, which works to support young women into employment, education, and enterprise. The panel discussion will offer attendees a powerful conversation on breaking barriers and building change across industries.
