Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a Swedish fashion and personal branding photographer based in Brighton. I love creating beautiful imagery for brands and businesses I believe in to help them achieve their next goal. When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy being by the beach, reading and spending time with friends and family. I'm inspired by beautiful light, my surroundings and the amazing people I get to work with.

What makes you smile?

This could be a long list! All the cherry blossom that's currently blooming and other signs of spring, when the sun is shining and fills my flat with warmth and nice lighting, seeing dogs out on my daily walk, feeling the fresh air on my daily walks, freshly baked goods and bread, having a nice meal, to name a few.

What can we do to support others during this time?

I try to check in with my friends more than normally, as we're all facing different struggles at the moment. There is a Facebook group where I live where people can put out requests for what they need help with, so I've joined that and keep updated if there's anyone around me that needs anything. I also posted a fiction book of mine to another photographer on Instagram, to hopefully give her some quarantine entertainment.

What have you been doing? (Any tips/ advice for isolation)

First and foremost, checking in with myself daily more. I feel like we're all a bit up and down, and that is okay. If I feel up for it, I work on things that will help me when we can start going out again. This has included organising and life admin, looking into the foundations of my business and seeing if there's anything that needs updating or changing, which there always is. When I'm not feeling up for it, I've spent hours baking, reading, tidying and decluttering, watching Netflix and the new season of Killing Eve on BBC.

Shoutout to someone

I'd like to give a shoutout to my boyfriend for daily making quarantine easier for me. He listens to my worries about how my business is going to get back up after this financial hit, and daily cooks food that make us both feel good and that is just the tastiest. He always makes a big effort for everyone else, notices small ways in which he can help others, and is always spreading kindness.
