MakeFest is an annual event held at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester. It is a weekend in which there are different activities such as coding, crafting and creating. Children get the chance to meet experts and take part in the activities.
We took part in MakeFest 2018 and our activity was called ‘Create and Change the world with Combinatorics’. It included crafting in which children and adults could create their own Careaux outfits and see how many combinations they could make with their designs. It also included a set of questions which incorporated the Careaux concept.
The workshop was a success and the designs that the children made were amazing and creative.
